The Edwina is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with the capacity to be used in a variety of applications. It has a relatively tight cardioid polar pattern which makes it well suited for live settings and close mic'ing. It has been optimised as a single source mic however at about 18" out from the grill you will find a sweet spot for capturing a voice and instrument together or two performers. Hand wired in the US, the Edwina is great bang for your buck and should be in your studio right now!
