1960s K&M Chromed Aluminium Microphone Stand With Vibration Absorber

This heavy duty, tripod, 1960s K&M Coated Aluminium Microphone Stand With Vibration Absorber is a feat of West German technology.

A very high quality stand, it is in fairly good cosmetic condition with some loss of crackle coating and a missing wing nut. 

Approximate Size:

• Folded max. length: 35.5cm
• Unfolded distance between legs: 50cm
• Unfolded height: 15cm

The three sturdy legs, with rubber pads, and base contain an integrated sound dampening system which is intact but would benefit from a good clean.

There is no maker's mark or label but the design is distinctive of the K&M (König and Meyer) stands of the same era.

A great design and rare to find such heavy stand these days!
